We have recently updated our office space to reflect the dynamic and flexible way in which we work alongside dedicated meeting rooms. Members of our firm can balance the way in which they work in the office, from home and out and about with clients. Our Partners work across the four Mercer & Hole offices including St Albans giving members of the firm plenty of opportunities to work alongside them and to benefit from their skill and experience.
A beautiful and historic city
St Albans is a rich and colourful city full of culture and history. It is built on perhaps the most important Roman settlement in England and is the site of the first War of the Roses. The cathedral stands where Saint Alban was buried over 1,700 years ago giving the city its modern name.

We sponsor players at both the men’s and women’s St Albans football teams.
In April 2024, we sponsored Write Now, an initiative aimed at supporting the future voices of St Albans spearheaded by the St Albans Times to give young people in St Albans the opportunity to share their opinions on local, national and global topics. As a firm, we are very much engaged with the long-term goals of helping young people to combat their anxiety surrounding the way negative news is shared on social media and to give them an important voice.
In 2024, The St Albans team voted to support the Herts Young Homeless charity as this is a rising concern across the region. Herts Young Homeless work with 16–24-year-olds who are homeless or at risk of becoming so. They have undertaken several fundraising initiatives across the office and hope to raise not just money but awareness of the issues.
